Cess Robles poured 18 points off 17 attacks and one block to give the Lady Bulldogs an excellent second win. 

While Ivy Lacsina, Mhicaela Belen, and Alyssa Solomon also fired twin digits to keep Ateneo under the net and winless in two games.

However, the Lady Eagles were able to retaliate in the third set as Faith Nisperos sealed the lone double-digit scorer with 16 points. The Blue Eagles also scrambled in the third set after committing 15 errors.

But Ateneo failed to survive the fourth set as Belen broke the 22-22 score with her attack and seized the victory with a service ace.

Despite loads of errors, coach Dimaculangan is still positive and expressed that his team’s preparation yielded good results.

NU will battle again on Tuesday, facing De La Salle University (DLSU) while Ateneo will show off against Adamson University (ADU).
