Adamson captain Jerom Lastimosa executed well both on offense and defense as he tallied 17 points, five rebounds, four assists, three blocks, and two steals.

Didat Hanapi added 13 points and five boards, while Keith Zaldivar got 10 points, four rebounds, and one block for the Soaring Falcons.

Their win forced a three-way tie with the Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws and the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Growling Tigers in fifth place of the team standings at 3-6.

The victory for the San Marcelino-based squad was secured with clutch performances in the fourth quarter.

A triple from Zaldivar and layup care of Joshua Yerro widened the window for Adamson from a small 53-52 lead to 56-52 with less than two minutes left on the clock.

Shaun Ildefonso sank a triple to cut the gap to a three-point game, 58-55, however, the NU Bulldogs fell short to unleash more clutch plays as they hand over the win to Adamson.
