ADAMSON EDGES UST FOR FOURTH STRAIGHT WIN

Adamson University (ADU) clinched its fourth straight win with an 80-69 victory over the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in the UAAP Season 84 men's basketball tournament Saturday at Mall of Asia Arena.

Jerom Lastimosa led the Soaring Falcons and finished with his career-best of 24 points to go with six rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

Vince Magbuhos had a season-high 11 points, eight rebounds, three steals, and two assists, while Lenda Douanga got nine markers and five boards.

With their win, Adamson improved to a 5-6 record and climbed to the fourth spot in the team standings.

UST’s Joshua Fontanilla led the way with his career-high 23 points, while Nic Cabanero chipped in with 13 as the Tigers fell to 3-8, their third straight defeat.
