TNT Tropang Giga will be seeking help from the Commissioner’s office with regards to issues regarding its player, Ray Park’s absence in the upcoming PBA season to clarify the rights of both parties.

PBA chairman Ricky Vargas had already had a meeting with Commissioner Willie Marcial last Sunday after attending the virtual PBA Press Corps Awards Night.

“I did mention that. We’ll probably take a look at it from two points of view. This is not the first time that this incident has happened. We’ll see how we can address this issue so that moving forward the policies are a lot clearer and fairer to everyone concerned,” Vargas affirmed.

“Matters like this will be taken up. Because of the pandemic, we’re trying to address everything,” he added.

The top cager of the team was found to be acting with dishonesty as according to the team manager Gabby Cui, the reason for Park skipping the season was to take care of his mother in Los Angeles.

However, the star player was seen at La Union and nowhere near LA. “I don’t see any mother being cared for, and as far as I know, La Union is nowhere near California,” team owner, MVP shared on his Facebook account.

And before the issue of Park blew up, there was Greg Slaughter of San Miguel who purposely sat out in the entire PBA 2020 for reasons of “work on myself on all aspects.”

“This is not the first time that this incident has happened. We’ll see how we can address this issue so moving forward, our policies are a lot clearer and fairer to everyone,” said Vargas.

“We will work around the difficulties and maybe, this will give us more inspiration to work together as a team,” he said. “Sometimes, difficulties like this make you stronger as a team. That’s more important,” he concluded.
