Smart Omega made the announcement on Wednesday on their official social media account.

“We’d like to welcome back SHANKS and officially welcome SAMH as our new Position 4 Support and Position 3 Offlane players!” the post stated.

“Our  roster is now complete and we are looking forward to your support on our upper-division run next DPC season!”

Sam_H and Shanks will be taking over the post left by Jun “Bok” Kanehara and Marvin “Boomy” Rushton who both moved to TNC Predator.

Sam_H was part of the TNC roster which overwhelmed the three-time Major OG during The International in 2016 making it the best finish by a Filipino Team in the biggest Dota 2 stage.

Backed with his countless experience in The International, the 26-year-old offlaner is expected to be bringing his veteran skills to help the Smart Omega squad in their campaign.

Meanwhile, Shanks had a stint with Indian squad Reckoning Esports where he joined forces with former Omega teammates Linuel “Teehee” Abanto and Benhur “Benhur” Lawis.

The returning Omega standout has recently broken through the 10,000 Matchmaking Rating (MMR) mark.

Sam_H and Shanks will be beefing up the Smart Omega roster which currently has midlaner Mc Nicholson “Mac” Villanueva, support Bryle “cml” Alvizo, and carry Justin “Tino” Grimaldo.

DPC-Southeast Asia upper-division will be kicking off on April 14.
