PLDT High Speed Hitters displayed an impressive performance as they swept F2 in three sets, 25-21, 25-19, 25-18, marking their first victory in the Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference semifinals. The thrilling match took place at the PhilSports Arena on Saturday, July 22.

Leading the charge for PLDT was Royse Tubino, who showcased her skills with an outstanding 20-point contribution to the team’s triumph. With this win, PLDT improved their semifinal record to 1-2 in the round-robin format.

On the other hand, the defeat brought the Cargo Movers’ record to an even 1-2 in the semifinals. Although F2 had previously secured a victory over Cignal during the eliminations, they have yet to clinch a win in the semifinal stage.

As the competition continues, fans eagerly anticipate more thrilling matches and outstanding performances from both teams in the PVL Invitational Conference.
