INDONESIA’S LESTER PROSPER DUBS KAI SOTTO AS ‘YOUNG LEGEND’
Indonesian naturalized player Lester Prosper labeled Kai Sotto as a ‘young legend’ in an Instagram video of his meeting with Sotto at The Miami Perimeter.
“You already know we’ve got the boy in here,” Prosper affirmed as he introduced the Filipino prodigy in the 13-second video.
The two great gunners had already a chance to battle with each other playing in Group A of the qualifiers that will be held in Clark, Pampanga from June 16 to 20.
Despite the barred fight, Prosper and Sotto still got their fate done as they ran into each other while training in Miami, Florida.
“Saw him in high school. His game grew a lot cerebrally and physically he has a little more to do, but that will come. He is only 18,” Prosper shared in an interview with Tiebreaker Times.
He also averred that he’s looking forward to being on the same court with the 7-foot-3 Sotto saying that “Yeah man, of course! It’s going to be super entertaining for the fans and it’s what they want to see.”
“I have my Filipino family and my Indo family, they are all waiting for this,” he added.
On the other hand, Prosper and Sotto posted a photo of them together with skills trainer Stanley Remy, giving hints of the possibility of the time the final phase of the continental qualifiers is held.
