BIG DOME NOW OPEN FOR FANS TO WATCH GILAS PILIPINAS LIVE IN 2023 FIBA QUALIFIERS

Fans are now allowed to watch the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup qualifying games as the Smart Araneta Coliseum begins selling tickets for the games set on Feb. 24 to 28.

During the telecast of Wednesday’s Philippine Basketball Association games, the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) announced that the tickets are now on sale in all TicketNet outlets and online via www.ticketnet.com.ph.

With the PBA opening its doors to fans starting today and the loosening of restrictions in Metro Manila, SBP was able to get the go signal from Quezon City local government unit to open the games to the public.

Only two sections will be open for the fans, lower and upper boxes, giving a semblance of a home-court advantage inside the Big Dome for our national team.

Lower box tickets are priced at P530 while the upper box seats are priced at P215, but fans must adhere to strict health protocols imposed by the local government.

Only fully-vaccinated persons aged 12 and above will be permitted entry to the venue and are required to follow health and safety protocols, such as the wearing of face masks, inside the arena.

Moreover, spectators are required to register through the QC Vax or Stay Safe app and present a valid ID or a government-issued ID to be allowed inside the Big Dome as only limited tickets will be sold.

Gilas Pilipinas is scheduled to play four games in the five-day affair, facing South Korea twice on Feb. 24 and 28, India on the 25th, and New Zealand on the 27th.
