The 16-year-old Filipina was quick to make her presence felt in the grass courts of London after ousting the 17-year-old Argentinian, 6-2, 6-4, in the opening round of the Wimbledon girls singles tournament.

The Filipina netter pulled off a 3-1 lead in the first set and was able to extend it to 5-1 but Sierra broke it with a forehand winner making it 5-2.

In the second salvo, Eala continued on the run again, 3-1 but Sierra was able to cut the lead, 3-2, via a break of serve.

Eala was able to reply with a break at deuce due to a double fault from the Argentine.
