METRO CLARK WASTE MANAGEMENT EXTENDS SUPPORT TO TARLAC STUDENTS

/ 3 September 2021

THE METRO Clark Waste Management extended support to students and schools in Capas, Tarlac to lessen the burden of distance learning.

The company aided schools in their efforts to re-calibrate their learning systems to make it compliant with the government’s mandated modular learning system.

“The pandemic has challenged a lot of business operations and hindered a lot of activities in the region, but we at MCWM, believe this shouldn’t stop us from still contributing to the immediate community where we operate,” MCWM Vice President for Administration and HR Buddy Hontiveros said.

MCWM also launched a computer literacy project called Para sa Kabataan ng Bamban tungo sa Makabagong Teknolohiya, which aims to provide Capas students with skills and computer access that will help them secure future jobs.

“MCWM truly values the partnership we have with the municipality of Capas. More than the services we provide through our waste management practices, we look after how we can provide development opportunities across all fronts and at all times,” Hontiveros added.

The company also implemented community-based activities focusing on environmental protection, livelihood generation, and youth education development.
