DEPED-CARAGA DISTRIBUTES VITAMINS TO STUDENTS
THE REGIONAL office of the Department of Education in Caraga distributed 165,744 bottles of vitamin supplements to schools.
DepEd-Caraga said that each Schools Division will receive 95 cases containing 144 bottles of assorted vitamin products purchased from Unilab, Inc., including Ceelin Plus, which has both Vitamin C and Zinc that help boost the immune system.
DepEd-Caraga said that the allocation and distribution of the food supplements was the product of the partnership entered by the DepEd Central Office.
Youthopia, one of the leading marketing agencies in the country, is also part of the project.
The distribution was made possible by the Education Support Services Division of the regional office under the direction of Chief Bernabe Linog, in collaboration with the Regional Partnership Focal Person Dr. Adrilene Mae Castaos, Medical Officer IV Dr. Jumer Carlon, Regional Nutritionist Mrs. Nelia Balcuit, and Nurse Ellen Grace Evangelio.
