THE COMMISSION on Higher Education Regional Office I visited Pangasinan State University to deliberate the funding for its scholarship program.

CHED-RO 1 Education Supervisor II, Project Technical Staff II Kristine Joy Peralta, Project Technical Staff II, Daisy Jane Nisperos, and Project Technical Staff I Eloisa Diana De Vera discussed the fund-related topics of Tertiary Education Subsidy and Tulong Dunong Program.

TDS aims to provide financial assistance to students who are academically competent but financially challenged.

Tuition and additional school-related costs are covered by the scholarship.

The meeting was attended and participated in by PSU Director for Student and Alumni Affairs Celeste Mercado, all campus accountants, registrars, and student services coordinators.

University President Dr. Elbert Galas stressed and upheld the guiding philosophy that education is geared towards better citizenship and livelihood, declaring education is for all, giving all the necessary access to quality education.
