CAGAYAN de Oro City Mayor Rolando Uy mobilized city employees to help in the National Schools Press Conference which will be attended by 5,000 delegates from all over the country.

The event, which to be simultaneously conducted with the National Festival of Talents, will run from July 17 to July 21.

Uy also sought the collaboration of barangay officials and private stakeholders.

Dr. Jocelyn Andaya, director of DepEd’s Bureau of Curriculum Division, said that this year’s NSPC is special as it is the first in-person event after the Covid19 pandemic hit.

“The NSPC and NFOT from the division, regional to national competitions’ objective is to showcase and assess the learning of students,” Andaya said.
