THE LOCAL government of Cavite will have free Covid19 testing for all teachers in the province to ensure health and safety of educators during the conduct of distance learning.

In a post, Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla said 21,000 teachers will be tested.

“Cavite has 21,000 teachers. We will initiate a targeted free Covid-testing program for our educators,” Remulla said.

Meanwhile, he also said the local government will execute a plan to help parents adjust to teaching their children in their homes.

“We will execute a strategy and develop a plan of action to help parents adjust to the new reality of ‘teaching from home’. It will involve various media platforms and face-to-face consultations with the teachers,” he added.

Remulla also urged Caviteños that instead of criticizing the new normal, they should unite and help each other and have patience in helping their children.

“It’s too late to complain. Let us just work together for our children’s future. Not everyone is blessed to have the facilities, the know-how, nor the patience to help their children learn. Pero kaya natin eto,” he said.
