BANGSAMORO PRODUCES 3,453 GRADUATES IN 1ST QUARTER OF 2021
THE BANGSAMORO Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education said that 3,453 of its Technical Education and Skills Development trainees graduated in the first quarter of 2021.
They were trained on different programs and underwent National Competency Assessment. The graduates have been certified skilled individuals.
The ministry said that the trainees are members of indigenous communities, fisherfolks, farmers, and out of school youth. Some were members of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front.
“Despite the challenges brought upon by the pandemic, the MBHTE ensures continuous delivery of skills trainings in the region through BARMM and nationally funded scholarship programs in the provinces of Basilan, Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, including the Special Geographic Area of North Cotabato,” MBHTE said on Facebook.
“Looking forward to a fruitful year, TESD directorate of the education ministry shall continuously serve and ensure that no Bangsamoro will be left behind in the provision of TVET,” it added.
