BANGSAMORO EDUCATION MINISTRY UNVEILS CALAMITY-RESILIENT CLASSROOMS
A SCHOOL building that can withstand calamities was constructed by the Bangsamoro Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education in Maguindanao.
The 2-classroom building was turned over to the Dimaukom Primary School, under the Schools Division Office of Maguindanao on Monday.
The BMBHTE said that the project was the result of its School Building Program which aims to identify areas of concern in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.
“The MBHTE is gearing for various construction of school buildings across all the schools divisions in BARMM. Rest assured that the school building projects are structured in adherence to the quality standards and design to be more resilient infrastructures,” MBHTE Minister Mohagher Iqbal said.
He added that the initiative was in line with the 12-point priority agenda of the education ministry to promote accessibility of quality education and develop schools as safe spaces for learning and development.
The MBHTE said that another facility will soon rise in Upi Agricultural School in Upi, Maguindanao.
