THE UNIVERSITY of the Philippines Open University together with the Commission on Higher Education again organized a training program for teachers in state universities

The program has for its theme ‘Training of Teacher-Trainers on Flexible Teaching and Learning in the New Normal.’

“The training program was designed to consolidate and facilitate the application of the concepts learned from these sessions through virtual workshops. The aim of the training program is to equip teachers to be lead trainers in their respective SUCs on flexible teaching and learning,” CHED said in a statement.

“Webinar sessions aimed at easing the transition from face-to-face instruction to distance education emerged one after another which provided the much-needed inputs to our teachers.”

The first batch of the workshop is meant for teachers who can serve as trainers for their institutions, while the other batch is for teachers who can help on internationalization of their programs/courses and reevaluation of the frameworks in teaching and learning under new normal in education.

CHED reminds SUC heads that they can only recommend 10 participants for each batch and sending an email to [email protected].
