THE TECHNICAL Education and Skills Development Authority encouraged Filipinos to avail themselves of its free Covid19 management online courses.

Tesda Director General Isidro Lapeña said that the agency currently offers 10 free online training programs related to Covid19 management.

The Covid-management courses in the TESDA Online Program are Contact-tracing Free Course; Covid19 Awareness; Covid19 General Duties; Covid19: How to put on and remove personal protective equipment; Learning Online during Covid19; Managing TVET during Covid19; Standard precautions: Hand hygiene; Teaching Online During Covid19; Health Effects of Climate Change; and Practicing Covid19 Preventive Measures in the Workplace.

“As Covid19 cases continue to rise, we are inviting everyone to enroll in our free online courses related to Covid19 management not just to help prevent the spread of the virus but also to be productive amid travel restrictions,” Lapeña said.

In 2021, health-related courses were the most in demand for Filipinos in the TOP. Data released by e-TESDA showed that 397,721 Filipinos enrolled in the Human Health/ Health Care Sector of the TOP last year.

Practicing Covid19 Preventive Measures in the Workplace was the most enrolled course with 369,650 enrollees.

Lapeña also renewed his call to local government units and the private sector to avail its free contact tracing training program and tap its graduates.
