Likewise, TESDA was conferred its 2015 Philippine Quality Award Level 1- “Recognition for Commitment to Quality Management” by then President Rodrigo Duterte in October 2018.

Meanwhile, for her part, Deputy Director General Rosanna A. Urdaneta, who also serves as TESDA’s National Quality Manager, shared that the agency is keen to expand its ISO certification and pursue ISO 21001:2018 certification for Educational Organization Management System of TESDA Technology Institutions’ processes such as enrolment and admission, conduct of training and institutional assessment, and issuance of training certificate.

“We will ensure that TESDA remains a leader in education and training, setting the standard for quality and excellence,” the TESDA official committed.

The ISO recertification was conferred by TUV SUD PSB Philippines, Inc. headed by General Manager Gabor Bohner. The TUV SUD PSB is the country’s leading multinational certification and inspection body, which provides inspection, certification, evaluation, validation, training, and testing services.
