TAGUIG CONDUCTS VACCINATION IN SCHOOLS
THE CITY of Taguig has joined the PinasLakas immunization campaign of the Department of Health and vaccinated more than 10,000 individuals in 23 schools in the city.
Teaching and non-teaching personnel also received their Covid19 vaccination.
The local government said it will set up more vaccination centers in more schools in the city to further ensure everyone’s safety.
PinasLakas Immunization Campaign is part of the DOH’s nationwide campaign to vaccinate 90 percent of senior citizens and increase booster coverage to 50 percent.
Prior to the DOH PinasLakas Immunization Campaign, the city government of Taguig coordinated with the Department of Education – Division Office to expand and intensify the Covid19 vaccination program for children in preparation for face-to-face classes.
All eligible residents and non-residents can get jabs in any of the vaccination hubs in Taguig from Monday to Friday at Lakeshore Vaccine Information Center, Venice Grand Canal Mall and Bonifacio High Street.
All barangay health centers also offer Covid19 vaccination every Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
