SPIKE IN COVID19 CASES FORCES SCHOOLS TO SUSPEND CLASSES

A NUMBER of schools mostly within the National Capital Region, suspended their classes amid the ongoing wave of Covid19 cases in the country.

A NUMBER of schools mostly within the National Capital Region, suspended their classes amid the ongoing wave of Covid19 cases in the country.

Among the schools that suspended their classes are Saint Pedro Poveda Collge (Jan.10), Xavier School San Juan Nuvali (Jan. 10 to 11), Philippine Women’s University (Jan. 10 to 12), and Marist School (Jan. 10 to 14).

Those which suspended classes from Jan. 10 to 15 are De La Salle University (all levels), De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (Benilde Manila, Benilde Antipolo, Benilde Deaf School, and Benilde Senior High School), Miriam College (grade school, high school, SDTEC and MC Nuvali), and Chiang Kai Shek College (all levels).

Polytechnic University of the Philippines (all levels),  on the other hand, suspended classes from Jan. 10 to 16.

Meanwhile, as per a letter posted by the Student Council of the Philippine Science High School main campus, all synchronous classes at the school will be suspended from January 10 to January 14.

All classes at Far Eastern University will be held online from January 17 to February 12, and the University of the East also postponed face-to-face classes and will announce if it will be having an academic break.
