SENATOR WANTS NATIONAL HS IN ORMOC CITY

SENATOR Imee Marcos has filed a measure that will establish a national high school in Ormoc City, Leyte.
In her Senate Bill 1945, Marcos wants to put up the San Isidro National High School.
Marcos said that there are 83 elementary schools and only 16 secondary schools in the city.
As a result, the Ormoc City National High School is packed and it no longer offers a conducive environment for learning.
“Clearly, there is a disproportion in the learning institutions of the said City,” she said.
