ROBREDO OPPOSES SCRAPPING OF BOARD EXAMS
VICE President Maria Leonor ‘Leni’ Robredo bucked the proposal to scrap the licensure examinations for new graduates.
Robredo said that licensure examinations are necessary to measure if a graduate meets the standards set by the profession he wants to be a part of.
Robredo reacted to the statement of Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III suggesting the abolition of the board examinations of certain professionals including nurses.
