PASIG CITY POLICE HELP SIBLINGS UNDER ‘ADOPT A LEARNER’ PROJECT
TWO siblings whose family was hard put in buying their school materials were adopted by the Pasig City Police.
The Pasig City Police Station under Col. Roman Arugay visited the siblings aged 8 and 11 in their residence at Hayatol-Ulom Muslim compound in Pasig City.
They were among the lucky students adopted by the police who will receive educational assistance and support for the entire school year.
The police gave the duo cash assistance, school supplies, nutritious food and face masks.
The Pasig CPS led by Evander Clemente Heng briefed the students on the proper wearing of face masks and the importance of hygiene such as washing their hands.
The adopt-a-student program of the police aims to help deserving students pursue their dream to finish their education.
