OVP BRINGS ‘PANSARAP PROGRAM’ IN MAGUINDANAO
THE OFFICE of the Vice President distributed nutritious buns to a school in Maguindanao to address malnutrition.
The “PanSarap Program” of the OVP benefited 1,064 students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 of the Nuro Central Elementary School in Upi town.
The “PanSarap” formula was approved by the Department of Science and Technology through the Food and Nutrition Research Institute.
The bread, which is halal certified, will be distributed to the students for 30 days.
The OVP plans to bring the feeding program to other parts of the country with high cases of malnutrition.
In April, it delivered buns to students of the Lower Tamugan Elementary School in Brgy. Tamugan, Davao.
