NYC NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR PATHWAYS FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
THE NATIONAL Youth Commission said that it is now accepting applicants for its 10-week online Pathways Fellowship program.
It said the program, developed through the partnerships with UNICF Philippines, Siklab Pilipinas, Youth Organization Registration Program and Philippine Youth Development Plan, is open to the youth who want to advance their advocacy skill.
“[The program] will provide emerging young leaders the opportunity to learn about the basics of developing an advocacy, the skills required to be an effective advocate, and honing these skills to transform ideas into action,” NYC said in a Facebook post.
“Course instructors include local and international mentors, industry experts, and nonprofit leaders,” it added.
Applicants must be 15 to 24 years old at the time of the application and an NYC volunteer or a member of a YORP-registered civil society organization, youth organization, social venture or non-profit.
The applicant must also have a stable internet connection and able to commit 6-8 hours per week for the duration of the fellowship.
