FRENCH EMBASSY OPENS APPLICATION FOR TWO SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS
THE EMBASSY of France in Manila has opened the application process for two scholarship programs for Academic Year 2022-2023.
The PhilFrance Scholarships program is open to Filipinos with strong academic, leadership and professional abilities.
Beneficiaries may pursue a master’s degree taught in French higher education institutions, either public or private, in all academic disciplines.
They will be given the status of French government scholar, a tuition fee subsidy for the entire duration of the master’s program, a monthly stipend of €700, a health care package, priority access to public student housing facilities, one roundtrip flight from Manila to the French city of destination, and an exemption from French long-stay visa application fees.
Meanwhile, the PhilFrance-DOST Scholarship program is open for Filipino professionals working in academic and government institutions who wish to pursue a doctorate and master’s degree in French public universities.
They will enjoy perks from the France’s Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research such as free public university registration fees, tuition and matriculation, health care packages including national social security and supplemental insurance policy, priority access to public student housing facilities, and exemption from French long-stay visa application fees.
Under the program, a scholar must agree to return to the Philippines immediately after the completion of their graduate degree to render return service or a period equivalent to twice the length of time that they spent in France for their degree.

Application period is from January 24 to April 4, 2022.
