F2F CLASSES WILL EASE TEACHERS’ BURDEN — SENATOR
SENATOR Manuel ‘Lito’ Lapid on Monday said that the return of in-person classes will ease the burden of teachers and parents.
Lapid made the statement after President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said in his State of the Nation Address that his government will prioritize the full implementation of safe in-person classes.
“It is important that we allow our students to fully experience face-to-face classes again, provided that safety protocols and measures are put in place to prevent another surge of Covid cases. Moreover, the F2F setting has been proven to promote the physical and mental health and well-being of our students,” Lapid said.
The senator said that ensuring quality education for all is one of his priorities in 19th Congress.
