THIRTY private schools have been recommended for the pilot run of the limited face-to-face classes, Education Assistant Secretary Malcolm Garma said.

As of November 8, 30 schools have been nominated in various regions.

Two schools were recommended in Region 1, three in Region 3, three each in Regions 5 to 10 and 12 and 13 and one for Region 11.

Some regions did not recommend schools because of the alert level status in their areas, Garma said.

The official said that teachers have been fully vaccinated against Covid19.

He added that facilities of schools where physical classes will be held should have hand-washing areas and limited seats for students to practice social distancing.
