THE COMMISSION on Elections conducted voter education in Cebu and Camiguin schools to inform the students of their right to vote along with the responsibilities that come with it.

The Comelec conducted lectures on “Voter’s Rights and Responsibilities” at the Cebu Institute of Technology University and Camiguin Polytechnic State College.

A satellite registration was also simultaneously conducted at the said schools to ensure that the students could immediately put what they had learned from the lecture into practice.

Present at CIT during the event were Carcar City Election Officer and concurrent Cebu Provincial Focal Point Person Mr. Omar Sharif D. Mamalinta and CIT University VP for Academic Affairs Atty. Corazon Evangelista-Valencia.

Meanwhile, in CPSC, Regional Election Director Atty. Renato A. Magbutay, Assistant Regional Election Director Atty. Maria Dulce Cuevas, Provincial Election Supervisor (Camiguin)Atty. Palmer P. Palamine and SUC President Dr. Macario B. Oclarit were present.
