BATAAN PENINSULA STATE U ANNOUNCES ACADEMIC BREAK

/ 29 October 2020

THE BATAAN Peninsula State University has declared an academic break to ease the burden of distance learning on its community.

“To give the BPSU academic community a certain space to process and manage the challenges brought by this global health crisis, the University will have a Mid-Semestral Academic Break from October 29 to November 3, 2020,” the BPSU said on Facebook.

No requirements will be submitted during the duration of the break, the BPSU said.

“During the said period, faculty are advised not to conduct synchronous sessions or to give asynchronous activities. Likewise, no assessment shall be given nor requirements to be submitted during the said dates,” it added.

Classes in the university were also suspended on October 26 because of typhoon Quinta.

Meanwhile, the BPSU opened the school year 2020-2021 on September 7, 2020, using distance learning.
