/ 25 August 2021

THE AURORA State College of Technology received a P350,000 grant from the Department of Labor and Employment to help with ruminant production.

This came after the establishment of a Ruminant Production Laboratory Facility in ASCOT Bazal.

The check was received by officials from the college, along with student beneficiaries.

The school said that the project is part of DOLE’s initiative to hone agricultural students with skills in animal management.

“The project aims to establish a small and large ruminant production laboratory facility at ASCOT Bazal campus to teach the students practically and advance their knowledge and skills in animal management,” ASCOT said on Facebook.

“It will also provide additional income opportunities for BS Agriculture students and serve as an income-generating project for the department to sustain student needs,” it added.
