EDUCATION Secretary Sonny Angara acknowledged the contributions of women employees on Monday (03 Mar 2025) during the flag-raising ceremony at the Department of Education Central Office in Pasig City.

He also encouraged everyone to foster a community that uplifts and empowers women as National Women’s Month is being celebrated.

“Ang tema natin ngayong taon, ‘Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas,’ ay tanda ng ating matibay na commitment sa pagsuporta sa governance at leadership ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos.”

Angara shared that the Department will hold dedicated activities, particularly for women in frontline services.

Various government agencies have also celebrated the opening of Women’s Month.
