One school was destroyed in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, 10 in Caraga, three in Region 4-B, six in Region 5, 26 in Region 6, 12 in Region 7, 10 in Region 8, and three in Region 10.
The Education department estimated that it will need P393.5 million to repair these schools.
Instructional materials worth P1.44 million were also ruined while computer damage was pegged at P758 million. The cost of replacing school furnishings was estimated at P7.47 million.
The DepEd said that 674 schools are being used as evacuation hubs.
