TWO-HUNDRED nineteen police recruits who took their oath of office in Magalang, Pampanga face additional training.

Police Regional Office 3 Regional Director PBGen Cesar Pasiwen administered the oath of office following their presentation by PBGen. Jerry F. Bearis, deputy regional director for administration at the Parade Ground in Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando.

The 219 applicants were given the rank of patrolman.

The new police personnel underwent a stringent screening process.

After their oath-taking ceremony, the new police recruits will further undergo one year of training at the Regional Training School 3 in Magalang, Pampanga.

“Ngayon pa lang ay ipinagmamalaki na kayo ng mga mahal ninyo sa buhay. Ipinagmamalaki na sa lugar ninyo na pulis na kayo kaya never resort to giving up while inside the training center. Rest if you must but don’t you quit,” Pasiwen said.
