SUPPORTERS of presidential aspirant Ka Leody De Guzman aired their frustration against giant media network GMA following his non-invitation in a forum where candidates for the presidency get to talk about their respective platforms.
The non-inclusion of De Guzman came as rival and co-aspirant, former Senator Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos, Jr. snubbed the interview hosted by veteran and multi-awarded journalist Jessica Soho.
The other presidentiables were invited to talk about their platforms while the labor leader unfortunately, was left out.
Supporters of De Guzman protested and said their candidate should have been invited instead.
The Kabataan Para Kay Leody aired its disappointment towards GMA, saying De Guzman was snubbed by the media giant.
“BBM, the rich and privileged brat, snubbed the presidential interviews of GMA News and Public Affairs. Ka Leody De Guzman, a candidate of the working class, was snubbed by the media giant,” the group said.
According to the network, it only invited the top five presidential candidates in terms of popularity, namely Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, Senator Ping Lacson, Senator Manny Pacquiao, Vice President Leni Robredo, and Marcos Jr.
Meanwhile, citing the non-invitation on the presidential interview, De Guzman held a Facebook live to discuss his platforms and plans if elected president.
