OVER 50 Cebu businessmen vowed their support for the presidential candidacy of Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. and running mate, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio.

The Businessmen ng Bayan Movement of the Philippines, led by its president Benjie Hortelano, expressed optimism the business climate will recover after the debilitating pandemic under a Marcos administration.

“BBM is rooting for the BBM-SARA Uniteam,” the group said.

Marcos thanked his supporters and reminded them the recent nationwide unity ride caravan held last week, symbolizes the Filipinos’ readiness to rally behind his leadership.

“The caravan was not only a display of support for my candidacy but it was also symbolic because it fosters unity,” Marcos said.

“I cannot repay you for all your sacrifices by merely expressing my gratitude. Let us continue what we have started positively towards unity to enable us to overcome the crisis that we are facing,” Marcos added.
