NANINDIGAN si dating senador at presidential aspirant Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. na nag-aral siya sa Oxford University.

“Well, naipakita ko na ang diploma ko. It is a degree course. So yeah, nag-graduate ako sa Oxford,” sabi ni Marcos.

Sa isang pahayag noong Oktubre ng nakaraang taon, sinabi ng chief of staff at tagapagsalita ni Marcos na si Atty. Victor Rodriguez na may Oxford diploma ang dating senador.

“It is up to anyone to question or challenge this with the said university if they so please,” ani Rodriguez.

Ngunit sinabi ng Oxford Philippines Society, isang grupo ng mga Pilipinong estudyante at alumni ng Oxford, na hindi nakakuha ng degree si Marcos sa naturang unibersidad.

“Bongbong Marcos did not finish his Degree. This was officially confirmed by Oxford University in 2015. Bongbong Marcos has been awarded a Special Diploma in Social Studies in 1978. A Special Diploma is not a degree, and neither is it comparable, superior nor equivalent to one,” ayon pa sa grupo.
