THE UNIVERSITY of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines handed out load assistance to 162 students in Claveria, Misamis Oriental.

The move was to help students cope with distance learning amid the Covid19 pandemic, according to the school.

Students who have gadgets but need load assistance received P300 worth of load each.

The distribution was facilitated by the Office of the Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs at the USTP Clavera campus.

“A total of 162 students from the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines received the initial load assistance from the University. The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs in USTP Claveria assisted in the distribution of load worth P300 each to students who have gadgets but need load,” USTP said in a statement over the weekend.

USTP also handed out 100 tablets to those in need of gadgets for distance learning.
