/ 20 January 2021

THE PROFESSIONAL Regulations Commission named a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas as Outstanding Professional of the Year in the field of Architecture in 2020.

UST said Architect Daniel Go’s dedication and excellence earned him multiple recognitions and awards and was named as one of the most respectable architects in the industry.

Go is the founder and principal architect of ADGO Architecture and Design Inc. and Daniel C. Go Architecture Design.

“He was one of the youngest architects elevated to the UAP College of Fellows and one of the early registered APEC and ASEAN Architects of the Philippines. He received the Outstanding Professional Alumni Excellence Award of Jubilee Christian Academy and was named as one of the 65 Outstanding alumni of Grace Christian High School,” the university said.

“Throughout his thriving career, Go set an example to young and aspiring architects. He is known as a good mentor and encourages future architects to love and aim for excellence in doing their craft. His eye for the smallest details transcends in his work as well as in his staff, setting him apart from the rest. He is also an advocate of abating the use of unlicensed software. He is a firm believer that the highest level of excellence and integrity can be achieved through originality and lawfulness,” it added.

Go obtained a degree in Bachelor of Science in Architecture from UST and graduated Cum Laude in 1989. He then trained under one of the top architects of the Philippines.

In 1996, he established his own firm, Daniel C. Go Architecture Design, and distinguished himself as an up-and-coming architect with various projects.

Go said that his many years of hard work made a positive impact in the architectural and construction industry.

“With 28 years of commitment, professionalism, and experience in architectural design, it is no surprise that we completed many significant projects, that included some of the iconic structures in the country such as the CCF Center in Pasig City, the largest auditorium type worship structure in the Philippines, the first LEED Gold certified office building in San Juan City called the BTTC Center, and the LEED Certified Brilliance Center in Bonifacio Global City,” Go said.
