“This is in preparation for the Community Health Information Tracking System that the HSU is putting in place for its operations,” UPV said.
“Before this, the UPV HSU staff underwent training on the Community Health Information Tracking System on January 24-26, 2024. The primary agenda for this training was the digitalization of HSU medical records,” it added.
Arturo Ongkeko Jr. MSc, RN trainer of CHITS from UP Diliman, conducted the training. After a DISP evaluation of HSU’s computer setup, an upgrade was recommended, according to UPV.
Last year, Class 1957 donated the purchase of medical equipment and furniture for the new HSU clinic at the New Admin Services Building.
It was received by the HSU Iloilo City Campus personnel led by Dr. Chona Parreño, Medical Officer of the HSU and a UPHSI alumna.
