The university has adopted the recommendation of the Inter-Agency Task Force for Emerging Infectious diseases to place the campus under a 10-day lockdown starting March 27 until April 5.
“No one shall be allowed to enter the University premises effective 12 noon of 27 March 2021 until 11:59 of 5 April 2021, except for identified essential personnel who shall only be allowed to enter the premises and finish important deliverables until March 30, 2021,” a memorandum from the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs said as posted on UDM’s Facebook page.
“The Office of the University President shall be the command center, in-charge of all monitoring and actions during the entire duration of the institutional lockdown,” it added.
The university also advised its employees who tested negative for Covid19 but are experiencing symptoms to coordinate with its University Health Services for a repeat RT-PCR test.
A round of disinfection and defogging will be conducted in the campus while on lockdown, UDM said.
