THE TECHNOLOGICAL University of the Philippines will open classes for school year 2020-2021 on September 1, its University Student Government announced on Facebook.

Like other schools, TUP will use flexible learning schemes to help students without strong internet connection to continue their education amid the Covid19 pandemic.

Online classes are currently encouraged as face-to-face interactions are still prohibited under quarantine guidelines.

Meanwhile, enrollment for freshmen will be from July 20-31, 2020; for sophomores on August 3-7, 2020; and for third to fifth year and graduate programs, from August 10-15, 2020.

The announcement also said faculty evaluation will resume on August 15 after grades have been uploaded until end of the first semester of the upcoming academic year.
