THE SOUTHERN Leyte State University announced that it is in need of 41 part-time teachers to ramp up its roster of faculty.

SLSU is looking for faculty members who can teach electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering and criminal justice with a specialization in criminology.

It needs eight EE teachers, seven in ME, 10 in CE and seven in the field of CJ.

The applicants should have a license, master’s degree and at least one year of relevant experience.

If hired, the part-timers will get a pay of P170 to P350 per hour.

The university said other vacant positions that do not need a license— tourism, hotel management and hotel and restaurant management — are also available but applicants must have a master’s degree in their respective fields.

Applicants must submit an application letter, personal data sheet, photocopy of license and board passing rate if applicable, photocopy of transcript of records and performance rating.
