SLU CITED AS AMONG AWARDEES OF 1ST PH HIGHER EDUCATION INTERNATIONALIZATION AWARD
THE SAINT Louis University emerged as one of the awardees of the 1st Philippine Higher Education Internationalization Award.
The Commission on Higher Education Cordillera Administrative Region made the announcement, while likewise congratulating the school for its achievement.
“Dubbed as the Light of the North, SLU, under the leadership of their esteemed President, Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, CICM, was able to secure an award through its well-planned and well-executed Internationalization Framework,” CHED-CAR said.
The framework includes Internationalization of Formal Education, International Mobility of Faculty and Staff, Strategic Cooperation, Partnerships, and Capacity Building, International Credit Mobility, and Internationalization at Home and Digital Learning.
SLU is the only higher education institution in the region and one of two in Northern Luzon to achieve the award.
The First Philippine Higher Education Internationalization Award is organized by the University of the Philippines Open University in collaboration with the Commission on Higher Education.
The award aims to recognize institutions of higher learning which were able to implement internationalization initiatives that are innovative, creative, inclusive, and sustainable.
