SIX MORE PISAY STUDENTS GET SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS FROM LEADING UNIVERSITIES ABROAD
SIX more students from the Philippine Science High School were offered scholarships in prestigious universities in the United States, Germany, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and China.
Jeris Grace Gonzales of PSHS Southern Mindanao campus was accepted by the University of Florida, New Jersey Institute of Technology, and Rutgers University-New Brunswick. Gonzales plans to pursue Biomedical Engineering.
Hofstra University, meanwhile, offered Kaye Richelle Duarte a provost scholarship for Neuroscience degree. She also received a full scholarship grant in New York University-Shanghai in China.
Meanwhile, Mary Catherine Therese Lemana was also offered admission by NYUS with scholarship grants.
On the other hand, Jysel Ashley Ayop obtained scholarship for BS Engineering Technology in the National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan. She also got the Jacobs At Ease Financial Aid Award by Jacobs University Bremen in Germany.
The school said that Ayop was also accepted to study Information and Communication Technology at Rangsit University in Thailand.
Further, Nathan Wayne Ariston of PSHS Central Mindanao campus received a full scholarship grant from Yale University where he is planning to major in physics.
Apart from Yale, he was also offered admission to Georgia Institute of Technology, University of California-Irvine, and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
Also, Edrian Paul Liao of the PSHS Cagayan Valley campus has been offered admission to the Duke University for its degree program of BS Mechanical Engineering minor in Computer Science with a full scholarship grant.
Liao is the first Filipino recipient of Karsh International Scholarship Program which provides eight semesters of full tuition, room and board, and mandatory fees at DU.
He also acquired a full scholarship admission from the Jacobs University in Germany for BS Biology.
