SILLIMAN U SIGNS PACTS WITH 5 SCHOOLS IN INDONESIA
THE Silliman University signed partnership agreements with five higher education institutions in Indonesia for academic and research programs.
SU president Dr. Betty Cernol McCann signed a memorandum of understanding with Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana, Universitas Kristen Wira Wacana Sumba, Universitas Halmahera, and Universitas Ottow Geissler Papua during the closing ceremony of the training and professional development project “Nurturing a Culture of Excellence in University Management through Leadership Development and Partnerships.”
Meanwhile, SU signed an MOU with Universitas Kristen Petra during the 25th General Assembly and Management Conference of the Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia, which McCann attended in Daejeon City, South Korea last week.
“The signed MOUs formalized ties between SU and the Indonesia-based institutions, and serve as a foundation for initiatives on academic collaboration and exchange that will follow,” the university said.
