ROMBLON STATE U HOLDS WORKSHOPS FOR EMPLOYEES
THE ROMBLON State University conducted a Logical Framework Approach Training Workshop to upskill its employees on research and other extension programs.
The 4-day training aimed to produce project managers who understand the compelling need for logical thinking as a core competency in crafting a project plan.
University President Dr. Merian Catajay-Mani led the training that focused on systematic and analytical planning process that can be used for the results-based planning of the University’s programs and projects.
The training included interactive workshops and roundtable discussions where participants gained insights on crafting a logical framework and applying it in research and extension programs of the university.
During the event, Commission on Higher Education Commissioner Lilian De las Llagas shared the practice of logical thinking and its importance as a core competence in creating a program plan.
She also discussed the theory of change, environmental scanning and scoping, the necessity to engage in projects and why some projects fail.
