RIZAL TECHNOLOGICAL U GRADUATE TOPS MECHANICAL ENGINEERING LICENSURE EXAM

A GRADUATE of the Rizal Technological University topped the Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission last month.

Reynell Villanueva Sanchez led the successful examinees with a score of 94.90.

Mark Francis Manalad Sedano of the Technological University of the Philippines-Manila placed second with a rate of 94.30%, while Jashey Wanag Baguidudol, also of TUP-Manila, ranked third with a rating of 93.95%.

The PRC said 3,774 out of 6,070 passed the licensure exam.

The top performing schools with 40 or more examinees with at least 80 percent passing percentage are the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines-CDO (100); Iloilo Science & Technology University (97); Batangas State University-Alangilan (92.50); Bohol Island State University-Tagbiliran (91.67); Bicol University-Legazpi (86.96); University of San Carlos (82); Silliman University (81.63); and Mapua Malayan Colleges Laguna (80.28).

Meanwhile, 65 out of 90 examinees also passed the Certified Plant Mechanic Licensure Examination.

Abram Noja Arrelano of the Cristal e-College-Panglao Campus topped the test for CPLME with 90.35.

TUP-Manila was the lone top performing school with 10 out of 11 or 90.91% of its takers passing the exam.
