PUP COC TO HONOR MEDIA FRONTLINERS ALUMNI
THE POLYTECHNIC University of the Philippines College of Communication has started accepting nominations for the recognition of its alumni who became media frontliners amid the pandemic.
“Their achievements not only reflect upon themselves but also extend and enhance the visibility, reputation, and integrity of the University,” the college said.
Dubbed as the “Gawad Pagkilala sa mga Natatanging PUP Alumni sa Larangan ng Midya ngayong Pandemya,” the award aims to highlight their “exceptional achievements and outstanding contributions” which benefitted the society.
“The [award] is open to all PUP alumni of good moral character and whose dedication to the media profession has made significant contributions to the advancement of their calling, public welfare, and community development during the time of the pandemic,” the college added.
Nominees must have received a degree from PUP and have been working in any media platform.
Nominations must be accompanied with a short profile narrative of the nominees which will be submitted to [email protected].
The submission of nominations for the award will be until January 31.
